A TRAVEL agency operating in the country for the past two years believes it also has the capacity to market Fiji to the rest of the world as a tourist destination.
Dynasty Tours & Travels director Hriday Daswaney said when they came to Fiji in 2017, they were very keen to bring Fiji to the rest of the world.
“Having a base here and experiencing what Fiji has to offer definitely makes it easier to sell and promote the country.
“Since we were already running an IATA accredited travel agency in India since the past 19 years, this is definitely what we are passionate about and wanted to carry on doing,” she said.
Located at Peace Embassy on Mitchell St, off McGregor Rd, Dynasty Tours & Travels has seven staff members, including Ms Daswaney and her partner Manoj Daswaney.
Ms Daswaney says there are three major groups of services that they offer with the second and third ones just been launched this month.
a) Travel services which include international and domestic airline ticketing, visa assistance, hotel bookings, honeymoon packages, tailor-made itineraries and sightseeing packages to any country around the world, cruises etc.
b) Medical Tourism which includes providing end to end services for medical treatments in India.
“We cater to all the South Pacific Countries who are looking to send their citizens to India for treatment and since we handle travel services as well, it becomes a one-stop-shop for them and we organise everything from doctors, hospitals, airline tickets, transfers in India, upliftment and other communication between airlines and hospitals, etc.”
c) Inbound tours to Fiji which includes promoting Fiji as a tourist and honeymoon destination to the rest of the world!
“We have from four-day to 15-day itineraries which cover the best of what Fiji has to offer. We work not only with Viti Levu, but also Vanua Levu and Taveuni,” she said.
